Lydia is Seven Months Old!

In the seventh month Lydia:
  • celebrated her first Christmas and rang in the New Year
  • went back to the doctor, and unfortunately needed another round of antibiotics to clear up her ears
  • finally rolled from back to front on 12-31-2012 and from front to back on 1-14-13
  • learned to sit up well with the help of her grey chair
  • enjoys sitting independently and playing for longer stretches on the floor
  • is very, very sad when momma goes to work each morning
  • visited MeMe's quilting friends
  • tried her first oatmeal cereal, mom has made her pureed squash, and sweet potatoes
  • enjoyed happy hour with Momma's school friends
  • left Texas for Baby Abram's shower in Tulsa
  • began napping in her crib
  • attended her first Mavs game
  • stayed in the nursery during church
  • had her first packed "lunch" to visit her cousins
  • makes "g" and "d" sounds
Lydia continues to be the most smiley, happiest baby. I absolutely love taking her everywhere, and I call her my little sidekick. So far she has handled everything we have tried from games to road trips like a champ.  She is not a fan of baby food so far, but we keep trying.

I love her little hands and face.  Nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!

New winter hat!

Ringing in the New Year!

Not a big fan of oatmeal.

Ready for church.

She was such a good girl on the road trip to Tulsa.

Trying out the crib for a nap.

Mavs game!

These lamb pajamas have been my favorite.  It's a sad day because they are too small for our growing girl.

In line to get checked into the nursery at church for the first time.

Just chillin' at Mrs. Amy's before naptime.

Go Pokes! We scored some orange while in Oklahoma.

Does this count as quality time?
She and Dolly both love polka dots!

More sleeping baby because momma can't get enough!
