Here are the highlights of another month with the sweetest baby ever!
*Wearing 3-6 month clothes, but they are getting tight.
*My heart broke into a million pieces when I returned to work on 9/28. The hardest thing I've ever done was handing my baby to her daddy that morning.
*So well-behaved and cute for first her baby shower.
*First Ranger's game was a huge success. I wore her in a sling, and she slept the entire time we were walking in and out of the stadium. Lots of people working there told us to get a free commemorative certificate for her first game. She loved the lights, cheering, and music. She had a great time and so did her parents!
*We have logged several outings to the pumpkin patch in order to take photos!
*Attended first basketball game, first concert, midnight madness, and celebrate Roanoke all in one day.
*We had "milestone Sunday" a week before she actually turned four months. We looked at the what to expect book and realized that you could raise up 90 degrees on your belly, focus on small objects, and keep your head level when raised to sitting.
*We took you to swing at the park for the first time. Lydia loved it and momma captured a sweet moment of her with daddy.
*Still a sleeping champ. Now waking up at six a.m. no matter what day of the week, but quickly eating and going back to sleep. Bedtime is late compared to most babies, 10 p.m.
*Able to sleep anywhere - during live music, on walks in the stroller, or in the car.
*Usually eating eight ounces while I am away at work, once before work in the morning, and lots of cluster feeding when I get home. Pumping three times a day.
*Staying with Marmee every Tuesday and Friday while momma works, with Daddy and MeMe on Mondays and Wednesdays, and Mrs. Amy on Thursdays. Daddy drops off late and picks up early, so playtime with Mrs. Amy and Drew isn't very long.
*Really started caring about blankets, and will pull any sort of small blanket or silky to her face. So sweet and they really seem to calm her down.
*We finally compiled all of our gift cards and ordered a "big girl" stroller. She has enjoyed facing forward and we have enjoyed how easy it is to maneuver.
*Lydia has gotten two new "friends" this month. Jacque the peacock and Sophie the giraffe. She loves playing with them both!
Sweetest baby, you are a little ray of sunshine in our lives. Friends want to know our secret to having a happy baby who sleeps through the night. I have no idea how we were blessed enough to have you. Saturdays are our happy day. We try to squeeze all the fun we can in with daddy!
Some important dates:
*batted @toys 10/1
*rolled over 10/1
*met Ms. Amy 10/1
*real tear 10/19
*Thought daddy was funny on 10/20 when he blew on your belly. He has been waiting for this since day one!

First Ranger's game. This girl was SO GOOD!
Cuddling and reading with my sweet girl the night before I returned to work. Greta joined us of course. I spent a long time with her in the glider that day.
Loving her new Sophie!
After church on a Sunday.
Does it get any sweeter?
We had dress up like a book character day at school. I decided that since this girl was already a lamb, I would be Mary. She followed me to school, and it made my morning great.
Loving football games at Westlake.
Mr. Bones at the pumpkin patch.
MILK! Daddy thought that this was hilarious.
Sweet angel fills the whole cradle these days.
Raigen's request for her Friday of fall break was to play with Lydia. How lucky are we?
Dressed up and ready for her first baby shower.
Lydia got to meet Matt on the "outside" at Celebrate Roanoke.
Picking up drinks for midnight madness. This was about 11 pm. We were still going strong. (I don't normally put her on the basket like this. I held the edge of the carrier the entire time.)
Day after midnight madness recovery. Feeling like this in between lots of naps.
Sweet girls at the pumpkin patch. They love each other.
How lucky am I? I love these two, and they love me back!
